We are currently looking to recruit a sous chef to work at the Seven Stars Inn, a food orientated English country inn just one and a half miles from Durham city centre. Located in the picturesque village of Shincliffe, the inn has a traditional bar and lounge as well as a 45 cover restaurant and eight letting bedrooms. The restaurant serves a modern British A la Carte menu while a small bar menu is served in the bar and lounge.

The role involves assisting the Head Chef in daily running of the kitchen department, ordering and health and safety. You will be required to ensure that all menu dishes are prepared with attention to detail and to the highest standard. The role will allow for the creation of daily specials which allow us the opportunity to showcase alternative dishes and seasonal produce.
