Local
Walks
There are many
popular walks passing through Shincliffe village. One
of the most popular is the Durham City and Houghall Discovery
Trail which follows the route of the River Wear from Shincliffe
through mainly open country into Durham city centre and
then back along the other side of the river. Ask
at reception for more information.
